                      How to play?

1. Game “Garbage Truck”. Review a garbage truck with your child. Discuss its purpose. Take out the figures with the image of garbage and name all the objects.  Count the containers on the garbage truck, check their names. Ask,  what can be thrown into  containers? (Paper, plastic, glass items, food waste).
2. Game “Garbage sorting”. Invite your child to correctly distribute the garbage into containers: in the red container - plastic products, in the green - figurines depicting organic products, in the yellow - everything made of paper, in the blue - glass objects. At the same time, ask to explain your choice: name the material from which the item is made, for example: a cardboard box, a plastic scoop, a glass Christmas ball, etc.
3. Game “The Fastest”. Divide all the garbage figurines equally among all participants. Encourage players to put all waste into appropriate containers as quickly as possible. The winner is the fastest participant who made the fewest mistakes.
Game option: distribute garbage containers to the players, offer to fill their containers by choosing garbage from the total mass.
4. Game “The Heap is Small.” Choose one of the containers filled with garbage. Ask your child to name all the items inside the container, discuss what other garbage made from the same material can be placed in this container. Offer to draw garbage on a piece of paper that can be used to fill a container.
5. Game “Clean Planet”. Ask your child where does garbage come from? Discuss why you need to sort waste. Tell us where the garbage is taken after sorting,  what happens to the garbage at the waste processing plant. Ask why you can’t throw garbage on the ground or leave garbage in the forest? Encourage your child to use the garbage truck in a story-based game.
